THE JUDGING PROCESS
Judges will read and pre-score all entry forms, considering any supporting materials submitted. Judges will be asked to give a score for each question within the entry form. These will be combined to give an overall score for each entry. All judges pre-scores will then be combined and the highest scoring entries will determine the shortlists.
Judges will meet to discuss the highest scoring entries and then agree the winner for each category. The shortlists will be announced on the 26 October. The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony at the Crowne Plaza, Liverpool on 7 December 2017.
Only the FSB Merseyside, West Cheshire & Wigan Business Awards Judges and the events team will see your entries. All judges will sign confidentiality agreements prior to receiving your entries.
Judges review and score entries remotely, to nominate their desired shortlist. The scores are then used to determine the overall winners.
Judges will be looking for evidence of strategy and research, execution, creativity, originality and evaluation.
Organisations participating in the judging process are encouraged to enter the awards but will absent themselves from any discussion involving their organisation or any organisation in which they have an interest.
The organisers reserve the right to publish submissions from the winners and shortlisted entrants. Where certain information is sensitive, such as budget figures, please mark ‘not for publication'.
If you would like to speak with someone about your entry, please call Becky Mellor on 01706 828855.
